Commission info
Please don’t come to me inquiring about logo design or portraits of friends and family. Unless your friends and family are toting plate armor and a big sword, it’s not my kind of work.
Character Portraits:
$25 Basic portrait includes:
- 8x10 black and white bust portrait of a single character, basic clothing and accessories
Add-ons:
- +$3 and shipping: physical print
- +$5: complicated clothing or accessories (e.g. lots of jewelry, elaborate armor, headpieces, etc.)
- +$8: painted at a larger size (11x17)
- +$8: (non-abstract) background
- +$10: full color
Terms of Agreement:
- The character still belongs to the original owner even if I draw them.
- The copyright to the artwork still belongs to me, even if you pay me for it.
- What this means: - You can: use the portrait in D&D sessions, in your character sheets, as an online avatar, as a social media header, post it on forums and the web, include it in videos, basically show it off to your friends to your heart’s content.
- You can’t: claim to be the artist of the work, sell it, or publish it for $$$ without my permission.
- “But wait! I have a special project in mind— such as a campaign guide— and I’d like this picture to be included!” For special circumstances, talk to me and we can figure something out.

- I reserve the right to use the image in my portfolio and social media, unless otherwise requested.

Other Projects:
I’m open to other forms of commissioned artwork and will appraise these jobs on a case-by-case basis according to difficulty and the amount of time they will take. Feel free to email me with details. Bear in mind I reserve the right to turn down a project for any reason which I’m not required to disclose.
In your message, please tell me:
- Character name
- Character description. (Don’t be afraid to be specific! If there’s a detail that should appear in the image, I won’t know about it unless you tell me.)
- Add-ons, including whether the painting will be black and white or color.
- Whether you have reference images of the character available. (Remember, a picture is worth a thousand words.)
- When you need the image (if applicable). I reserve the right to reject deadlines that don’t work for me.
